Short Review #1: sitepoint

March 7th, 2008

I figured I’d start the probably long list of reviews to come with a particular company I have become hooked on. That company is, of course as the title alluded to, sitepoint. I’ve only recently begun investing in their products but thus far I have acquired three of their books and their handy dandy business kit, which arrived just this morning much to my delight. So let’s take a look at three main things I can actually review!   Read the rest of this entry »

New life, new vision

February 17th, 2008

Most people who know me, know that I’ve started at least half a dozen blogs within my time and truly stuck with none of them. As unfortunate as that may sound, it has also led me to see what I enjoy about blogging and what I don’t. It’s also led me to notice that although some posts seem to work at the time, I look back and wonder why on this earth I decided to write it in the first place. So with the bad comes the good. This site has been a long time coming and I have a lot of plans for it’s future. It will be first and foremost a blog aimed at individuals of like interest and mind. Those not brand new to the industry but also not as seasoned as others. I will endeavor to share resources I have personall found useful, share my opinion on the new and upcoming, and generally share insight that could be deemed useful in the daily life of my peers. I will make my best attempt to leave out any nonsense, but I will also warn you that I often tend to add in (what I and strange people like me) humorous remarks which may not be entirely to do with the subject at hand. This blog will not be a journal. You will not hear that I had pizza and limeade for lunch or that I went and saw a movie last eve. If you want to know if I like eggplant or tuna, you’ll just have to find somewhere else to inquire, like the contact form!
